My Town

Hi
I live in a small town of about 15 000 people.
It is a coastal town on the main land (south Island) of New Zealand .
We have a population of little blue penguins . Which travelers from around the world to see.
I live a few houses from the sea and couple of years ago a Southern Wright Whale stopped to rest with her calf.
It was amazing all we had to do was cross the railway line and look down to see this beautiful creature and her baby.
There is a local beach where we swim and if you are lucky enough dolphins will come in a swim with you.
Normally Oamaru is drought country but this winter we have had sooo much rain. So much so the car got stuck in the mud. We had to get it towed out.
Which reminds me I must bring the washing in.
